The meeting report deals with a special information meeting of the German Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL) which was held on 25.09.2013. Main topic was the use of the new electronic application. Please find enclosed in this issue relevant information on the announced application procedure of the German authority (BVL) for plant protection products (PPP) which is mandatory as of 01.02.2014.

A new working group, responsible for Integrated Pest Management, biopesticide and biostimulant related issues, has also been established in the Agrochemicals and Biopesticides Department at SCC.
