What I do at SCC
»I’m responsible for human health exposure and risk assessments, regulatory affairs as well as Task Force management. Along with compiling expert statements, monitoring studies and writing dossiers, I also constantly stay in close contact with customers and authorities. All in all, Biocides offer a broad and exciting field of work with a host of varied, often challenging projects. Looking back now, I am very glad that I moved from primarily a position in analytics to a multifaceted job in toxicology and regulatory affairs in the heart of Germany.«
What I do at SCC
»I joined SCC straight after my training, and I have been with the company for more than 10 years already. I allow our employees to focus on what they do best – by supporting them in all administrative tasks, taking care of correspondence, organising business trips and preparing dossiers for production. My day-to-day tasks are extremely varied. Add the great working environment and friendly colleagues to the equation – and what more could you ask for?«
What I do at SCC
»My team analyses the physical-chemical properties of active ingredients and we define the chemical identity of substances. Working closely with external laboratories, we develop and test analysis methods. I used to spend all day in a lab myself. Now I have a host of new opportunities and tasks. I like the diverse nature of our contacts here, whether it’s communicating with laboratories, clients or internally. Straightforward collaboration with colleagues and flat hierarchies make working here particularly appealing.«
What I do at SCC
»I am responsible for the toxicological aspects in the evaluation of pesticides. I write dossiers and also answer questions from clients and authorities. My work is exciting and often demanding. But at SCC, you’re never left on your own: we work on most of the challenges as a team and jointly find a solution. This creates a lively atmosphere and the friendly exchange with colleagues makes the job doubly worthwhile. The gut feeling I had when applied was right – the position offers everything it promised in the description.«
What I do at SCC
»My focus is on ecotoxicology. Our team provides support throughout the entire registration process for a range of substances – from compilation of the dossier, to monitoring studies and REACH, through to modelling. My job is far from routine; in fact, I learn something new every day. I never wanted to work in a large, faceless corporation but was always interested in joining an organisation where every employee is seen as an individual. Dr Pistel has a clear vision: money and success are not at the forefront but the focus is on goals and principles. I have definitely found my dream job.«
