For more than two decades, SCC has supported the consumer good industry with scientific and regulatory advice. SCC has the experience to deal with all relevant scientific and regulatory aspects or problems that may arise for general and overall evaluation of materials or chemicals for intended applications, to risk assessments for given exposure (direct or indirect) scenarios, or handling dossier preparations. For example, SCC has successfully prepared numerous dossiers on various cosmetic ingredients, e. g. hair dyes, or CMR Cat 3 substances for evaluation by European Expert Groups (SCP, SCNFP) and on cleansing ingredients or formulations for industry associations, such as HERA.
